BALLOON RELEASE CONCLUDES LWC’S DAY OF 9/11 REMEMBRANCE — The LWC Student Government Association concluded the college’s day of 9/11 remembrance by holding a balloon release Thursday evening on the Campus Quadrangle. A couple dozen LWC students released red, white and blue balloons into the air to symbolize the resiliency of the American spirit. The balloons were released inside of a 9/11 memorial composed of more than 2,000 American flags.
