Meet the Almost, Maine Cast: Lacy Martin (Rhonda)
Lacy Martin (Rhonda) is a Theatre senior from Gamaliel, Ky. Almost, Maine is the 11th LWC production in which she has appeared. Her other LWC Theatre productions include: Pippin, The Tempest, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Crucible, Romeo and Juliet, Godspell, A Perfect Wedding, Our Town, Everyman and the Christmas Madrigal dinners. Meet the Almost, Maine Cast: Loren C. Mason (Gayle)
Loren C. Mason is a sophomore from Nicholasville, Ky. Although this is a her first LWC Theatre performance, she has been in school and community performances since middle school, including Horton Hears A Who, Sweeney Todd, Les Miserables, Blow Ye The Trumpets Blow and Little Shops of Horrors. Loren is also a member of the LWC JV basketball team.

Meet the Almost, Maine Cast: Alex Russell (Glory)Alex Russell is a Theatre and psychology sophomore from Greenville, Ky. Alex has began performing in 2007 with her hometown Muhlenberg (Ky.) Community Theatre, and she has continued her love of theater and performance at LWC.  In addition to theater, Alex also participates in the Student Government Association, Student Activities Board, the Bonner Scholars Program, EDGE orientation for freshmen and is a writing fellow. Alex thanks the college, Robert Brock, the cast, her family, God and her boyfriend for their constant support.

Seth Slone is a Christian ministries and human services & counseling senior with a Theatre minor from Danville, Ky. This is his fourth LWC Theatre production. He was also Dewey in The Diviners, Lord Montague in Romeo and Juliet and also appeared in The Long Christmas Dinner. Seth thanks Robert Brock, his family and Amelia Withers.

Brooke Spatol is a human services & counseling major and a Theatre minor from Louisville, Ky. This is her 10th role in an LWC Theatre production, and she was also stage manager for Romeo and Juliet. Her favorite role to date has been Berthe in Pippin. After LWC, Brooke plans to further her education in theater and hopes to one day teach at LWC. Brooke thanks her family and friends for their support, and Robert Brock for always believing in her.

LWC COMMUNITY CELEBRATES FOUR DAYS OF ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS — The Lindsey Wilson College community continued four days of environmental awareness Tuesday, April 22, with a campuswide celebration of Earth Day.

To mark the 44th anniversary of the day of global awareness about the environment, the LWC community dedicated a tree to the late Carolyn Keefe of Columbia and held a day of activities on the Campus Quadrangle. Keefe, who was an LWC English professor from 1997-2009, died last year. During her service on the LWC faculty, Keefe led the campus’ Earth Day activities.

From April 21-24, the LWC Office of Student Activities will help coordinate campus-wide recycling activities and other events designed to raises students’ understanding about the environment.
