FORMER LWC  STUDENTS RECEIVE WHITE COATS AT UK PHARMACY SCHOOL — It was a big weekend for three recent Lindsey Wilson College students as they received white coats from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy on Friday, Aug. 16.
The ceremony, held at UK’s Otis A. Singletary Center for the Arts, symbolizes a student’s matriculation into the university’s doctor of pharmacy program.
The three former LWC students who received white coats were John Brown of Albany, Ky., Katie Easton of Crestwood, Ky., and Kelly Upton of Greensburg, Ky. At LWC, Brown was a biology major, and Easton and Upton were psychophysiology majors.
The three are scheduled to graduate from UK in 2017.
